Actually, it makes sense. If you can grow a pipe wrench in your backyard vege patch, you would save significant amounts of energy that would have been used to make a pipe wrench from raw materials. Also, most tools sit in suburban garages doing absolutely nothing for decades~! Truly a waste of energy...
